"Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis / FLY ME TO THE MOON" is a split single released by Takahashi Yoko and CLAIRE. The title tracks used as the opening and ending theme to the anime series Shinseiki Evangelion. It was re-released on the same day with Takahashi's solo single "Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis". The single reached #17 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 61 weeks, selling 662,316 copies.
Due to the popularity of the anime Shinseiki Evangelion, the single was re-released in 2003 to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary. The reissue version reached #41 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for nine weeks.
