"Rising Sun / Itsuka Kitto..." is the 37th single released by EXILE. The single was released in commemoration of their tenth anniversary. It was released in the format of a joint single between EXILE and ATSUSHI and in two editions, CD+DVD and CD Only. Additionally nine versions of the single were released on mu-mo store. These nine version include the same tracklist as the CD Only edition, however each one features a different cover art, which if placed together (both front and back covers) form the Japanese flag. One box containing the nine CD Only editions, a wall holder, a T-shirt and a pin button was also sold at mu-mo store.
On July 16th, "Rising Sun" was released via Chaku Uta to help with the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami disaster relief efforts; All the profits from the song were donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society. "Itsuka Kitto..." is an ATSUSHI solo track and it was used as the theme song for the drama Hi wa Mata Noboru. The single reached #1 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 29 weeks. As it sold 305,001 in 2011, it become the #14 single of the year.
