Information

"Heavenly Star" is the first song made by Genki Rockets. It was released a number of times. The first time was as a one track digital single on November 6th, 2006. The second time was as a 12 inch analog single with two remixes (by metalmouse and Headwaters), an acapella version, and an instrumental on February 16th, 2007. In March and April, different remixes were added to the online stores. The third time was as the double A-side single "Heavenly Star / Breeze" on July 4th, 2007, which contained all previously mentioned tracks and remixes (save for the acapella), and the new song "Breeze". "Breeze" would then be re-released twice as analog singles, with one being a remix single. The last release was a remix analog single on October 11th, 2007, it featured all remixed tracks courtesy of DJ TEN, OVERHEAD CHAMPION, and DELACTION.

The title song and its accompanying PV are featured in the PSP game Lumines II. It's also used often in the Wii exclusive game No More Heroes. The PV could be watched in this game too, but only in the Japanese and European versions. "Heavenly Star" won Best Song in the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards.
