"BLACK SIDE" is the seventh single released by THE KIDDIE. It is the second entry in a three consecutive month single release plan, the first entry is "soar" and the last entry is "Poplar". The single was released in two different versions: a CD+DVD edition (A) and a CD only edition (B). A-Type comes with a DVD of the title song's PV, while the B-Type comes with an extra song, "PANORAMA". The title song was used as an ending theme song for the NTV show Koguma no Bear Heya. The single reached #42 on the major Oricon charts, where it charted for a week.
